Objective: Students will analyze the picture, then write a paragraph explaining how erosion and water deposits occur over time. Students will then use their writing and share with another peer to grow a deeper understanding of how erosion and water deposits take place.
Look: Students will take a few moments to look at the picture and think about where in the
picture they might see erosion occur. Students are able to point it out on where it might take
place and explain how the surrounding environment might affect erosion.
Wonder: Students are able to look at the picture and think How does this environment affect
erosion? Are there any manipulatives that might occur that would affect erosion? What is
erosion? How does it take place?
Share: The students will partner up with each other and share their thoughts from the paragraph.
This will allow the students to learn from one another and also allows students to think deeper
about how erosion takes places and how environments can be affected by it.
