JDSP: Union II- Yaacov Agam

Junior Docent Student Work

Jake Norris—St. Boniface School

The Union II art piece that I replicated has a 3D shape, but  is a painting. It has many different bright colorful shapes that spread across the art piece. Depending on which side you look at the piece from either side or straight on it gives you a different picture. There are diagonal, bold, thick wavy, and zigzag lines. I liked this piece of art because of it’s illusion and having more than one picture in the art piece. I really liked the bright colors and different shapes that are throughout the painting. Being able to replicate this piece was fun.
