Objective: Students will be able to analyze the image and create a story about the types of organisms that would live in the environment. 

Look: Students will start with a look at the artwork. What do you notice about the artwork? What do you notice about the suitcase? What do you see inside the suitcase? 

Write: Then have them write a creative story about some organisms that could live in this environment shown in the artwork. 

Share: Then have students share their short story in a small group. 

Standards:  

  • SCI.LS4.A.3 Particular organisms can only survive in particular environments. 3. Students will be able analyze a piece of art and determine what kinds of organisms can live there.
