
Objective: Students will be able to identify mammals and their qualities.
Look: Ask students what they notice about the image. Ask students to describe what they see, specifically in the bison. Show students more images of other mammals and ask them to describe similar features to the bison.
Write: Have students sort animals into mammals and non-mammals. Students will then create a Venn Diagram to show the similarities and differences between the animals.
Share: Students will discuss their findings.

- SCI.CC1.3-5 Students identify similarities and differences in order to sort and classify natural objects and designed products. They identify patterns related to time, including simple rates of change and cycles, and use these patterns to make predictions.
