Objective: Students will write a story from the perspective of the painting that makes sense contextually and aligns with the painting’s description.
Think: I want you to think of how you could write a short story from the perspective of the performer.
Write: Somethings that you can think about while you write are what they might perform, are they performing alone or together, where is the nightclub? This is your story though. You can take the story wherever you see fit as long as it makes sense in connection with the painting.
Share: I want you to form a small group of 3-4 and share your stories. Once you all finish sharing, I want you to find similarities and differences among all of your stories. We will then share the similarities and differences as a class.
Standards:
- W.4.1 Compose reflective, formal, and creative writing, which may happen simultaneously or independently, for a variety of high-stakes and low-stakes purposes.
