Objective: Students will learn more about cities and understand the factors that make up a city. Students will learn about the positives and negatives of a city and identify those characteristics. 

Compare: Students will look at the two paintings side by side. What do you notice? What is similar? What is different? Are the characteristics positive? Negative? 

Share: Students will share their ideas with each other and create a class chart. Students will use this chart to find a city in Wisconsin that is represented by the characteristics found in the paintings. 

Present: Students will then find any city in the United States to research that represents these same characteristics. Students will present their research to the class.

Identify the location and patterns of cities within our state and country.
